As part of preparations for the 26th edition of the FENASSCO Ligue A national finals<\/strong>, the Governor of Cameroon\u2019s West Region<\/strong>, Awa Fonka Augustine<\/strong>, welcomed the Minister of Secondary Education<\/strong>, Pauline Nalova Lyonga Egbe<\/strong>, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026<\/strong>, for a 72\u2011hour working visit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The visit reflects the region\u2019s commitment to ensuring a successful hosting of this major national school sports event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Inspection of Hosting Facilities<\/h3>\n

Accompanied by the Secretary of State in charge of Teacher Training<\/strong>, Boniface Bayaola<\/strong>, the Minister\u2019s mission focuses on the assessment of sites and infrastructure<\/strong> selected to host competitions and related activities during the FENASSCO Ligue A 2026 finals.<\/p>\n

First Day of Field Visits in Bangangt\u00e9<\/h3>\n

On the first day, the ministerial delegation toured several key facilities in Bangangt\u00e9<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n

  • Bangangt\u00e9 Classical High School;<\/li>\n
  • Bangangt\u00e9 Technical High School;<\/li>\n
  • the City Council premises;<\/li>\n
  • the Divisional Delegation for Youth and Civic Education;<\/li>\n

    These visits helped evaluate readiness levels and identify areas requiring improvement.<\/p>\n
