Cameroon\u2019s Road Fund has launched an evaluation mission in the West Region as of Monday, May 4, 2026. Chaired by Governor Awa Fonka Augustine, the initiative aims to assess the execution of road projects funded under the national Road Fund scheme.<\/p>\n

Official launch under the authority of the West Region governor<\/h2>\n

The mission was officially launched during a meeting held at 8 a.m. in Bafoussam<\/strong>, presided over by Governor Awa Fonka Augustine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The field operations are being led by Mr. Mbeumo Sandre<\/strong>, acting on behalf of El Hadj Oumarou<\/strong>, who was unable to attend.<\/p>\n

First site inspections in the Koung-Khi Division<\/h2>\n

The opening day focused on the Koung-Khi Division<\/strong>, with inspections conducted in the municipalities of Pete-Bandjoun<\/strong> and Bayangam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In Pete-Bandjoun, the team reviewed ongoing maintenance works on several municipal roads<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
