The event highlighted 79 distinguished citizens. It took place at Toket Stadium under the theme of national unity.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>A solemn ceremony in western Cameroon<\/h2>\n<p>Toket Stadium hosted the official celebrations. The event marked the 54th National Day.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities from the West Region attended. The regional governor presided over the ceremony.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>79 citizens honored<\/h2>\n<p>Acting on behalf of the Head of State, the governor awarded national honors.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients included civilians and security personnel. Their service and dedication were recognized.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Breakdown of awards<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Order of Valour: 8 recipients<\/li>\n<li>Order of Merit: 50<\/li>\n<li>Public Force Medal: 12<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural Merit: 13<\/li>\n<li>Sports Merit: 3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Parade concludes the celebrations<\/h2>\n<p>The medal ceremony was followed by a civil and military parade.<\/p>\n<p>Results for the best civil groups were later announced.<\/p>\n<p>The day celebrated unity and excellence.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"\"
