FENASSCO Ligue A 2026: West Region Steps Up Preparations
As part of preparations for the 26th edition of the FENASSCO Ligue A national finals, the Governor of Cameroon’s West Region, Awa Fonka Augustine, welcomed the Minister of Secondary Education, Pauline Nalova Lyonga Egbe, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, for a 72‑hour working visit.
The visit reflects the region’s commitment to ensuring a successful hosting of this major national school sports event.
Inspection of Hosting Facilities
Accompanied by the Secretary of State in charge of Teacher Training, Boniface Bayaola, the Minister’s mission focuses on the assessment of sites and infrastructure selected to host competitions and related activities during the FENASSCO Ligue A 2026 finals.
First Day of Field Visits in Bangangté
On the first day, the ministerial delegation toured several key facilities in Bangangté, including:
- Bangangté Classical High School;
- Bangangté Technical High School;
- the City Council premises;
- the Divisional Delegation for Youth and Civic Education;
- the CPDM Party House.
These visits helped evaluate readiness levels and identify areas requiring improvement.
Visit Continues in Bafoussam
The working visit continues on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in Bafoussam, regional capital of the West Region, with further inspections aimed at ensuring optimal organization of FENASSCO Ligue A 2026.
