West Region Governor Celebrates Excellence at Bafoussam Regional Hospital

The Governor of Cameroon’s West Region, Awa Fonka Augustine, presided over the first-ever Excellence Day of the Bafoussam Regional Hospital on Friday, December 15.

The ceremony aimed to recognize merit, dedication, and professionalism among healthcare workers serving within the institution.

Over Twenty Staff Members Honored

During the event, more than twenty outstanding staff members were recognized for their remarkable commitment and service quality, contributing to the hospital’s growing reputation.

The Bafoussam Regional Hospital has positioned itself as a reference healthcare facility at both national and sub-regional levels.

Words of Encouragement from the Governor

In his address, the Governor commended the Hospital Director, Dr. Oussaouo Passang, and encouraged the award recipients to maintain high standards of dedication and professionalism in the delivery of healthcare services.

New Type C Ambulance Commissioned

The event concluded with the official commissioning of a Type C ambulance, donated by the Ministry of Public Health, aimed at strengthening emergency medical response capabilities at the hospital.
