The event signals the gradual rollout of activities for Cameroon’s 54th National Day celebrations.
Administrative officials and civil servants attended the ceremony.

The Governor of the West Region personally attended the ceremony.
He was surrounded by senior collaborators, including the Secretary General, heads of divisions and regional inspectors.
Staff from the Governor’s Office were also present.
Youth and civic institutions mobilised
Officials from youth and civic education services took part in the ceremony.
These included representatives of the Regional Delegation for Youth and Civic Education and the Civic Service and Participation for Development Agency.
Their presence underscored the importance of civic awareness.
A civic reminder beyond protocol
Beyond the ritual, the ceremony served as a “civic minute”.
It offered a reminder of the duties and values that bind citizens to the Nation.
